Animal Baths

Last week, Jan gave my sweet Parker (who is terminally ill) a spiritual healing bath and it was an amazing experience for all of us! Shy Parker (who never lets strangers near him, much less touch him) leaned against Jan for 45 minutes, calm and serene, as she prayed over him, bathed him, rubbed him, and wafted the copal incense over him. Now, he is bright-eyed, cheerful and as energetic as his condition allows and I am soothed as well, finding the joy in each of his remaining days.

Today's shifting energy into ease of Parker's gorgeous dog soul was like sitting in the middle of pure and present beauty. Warm sun, wafting copal, his quiet patience as the infused waters bathed him. Wow. Thank you Parker, for the gift, the experience, the calm light that surrounded all of us.was INCREDIBLY amazing.. sitting as he laid between Rhonda and me just soaking it all in was like being a quiet visitor into someone's heaven.. really quite humbling.
